Our academic programs — art education, art history, graphic design, interior design, and studio art — allow you to choose a specific area of study and immerse yourself in it to become a successful professional and/or artist. From a minor to an M.F.A., the choice is yours.
You’ll be exposed to professional practices in the field by meeting with professionals, using the latest technologies, and applying hands-on techniques and practices.
While developing your body of work for the future you’ll also be encouraged to display your work in one of the finest art museums in Western North Carolina.
Guiding the way is our experienced dedicated faculty, many of whom have followed this same path and made their mark as successful professionals and award-winning artists.
