Chancellor’s Distinguished Speakers Series: The Chancellor’s Distinguished Speakers Series brings significant figures to the WCU campus to discuss major issues of the day.

Fine and Performing Arts Center Series: WCU’s Galaxy of Stars Series features a variety pack of world-class theatre, music and dance performances.

Last Minute Productions: Since 1978, the student-run LMP has coordinated and produced social, cultural, educational, and recreational events for the entire WCU community.

Lectures, Concerts, and Exhibitions (LCE) Series: Produced by a student-faculty committee, the LCE Series features visiting performers, speakers and projects that provide quality and challenging entertainment to the WCU community.

Mountain Heritage Day: Held on the Cullowhee campus the last Saturday in September, Mountain Heritage Day is a combination old-fashioned mountain fair and showcase for authentic Southern Appalachian folk arts.

Pride of the Mountains Marching Band: Praised by the Bands of America organization as “one of the most innovative and exciting bands in the nation,” the Pride perform and compete regularly throughout the year.

School of Music Events: WCU’s School of Music offers a wealth of events throughout the year, from concerts and recitals to workshops and seasonal offerings.

Spring Literary Festival: The acclaimed four-day festival brings local, national and international writers together on the Cullowhee campus for readings, workshops, and social events.

WCU Theatre Mainstage Season: The Mainstage Season presents a full slate of theatrical performances involving WCU faculty, staff, and students.
