WCU Catamount Concert Series faculty music recital March 11
2/28/2008 - Western Carolina University’s Catamount Concert Series will host a faculty recital featuring flute music by Eldred Spell on Tuesday, March 11, at 8 p.m.
Spell’s free program, held in the recital hall of the Coulter Building, will consist of various flute and piano pieces including Paul Hindemith’s “Sonate for Flute,” J.S. Bach’s “Sonata in E-flat Major,” Theobald Boehm’s “Grand Polonaise,” Georges Hüe’s “Fantasie” and Jean-Michel Damase’s “Sonate en Concert.” Pianist Andrew Adams will provide musical accompaniment.
